Lets Get Started…

I invite you to consider a great principle of Nature-a great natural force that manifests its activities in mental phenomena…which some have called Mind Power. This thought is based on the fundamental concept that in Nature exists a dynamic mental principle,”Mind Power”, which pervades all space, is in all things and manifests in a variety of forms, degrees and phases. This energy is freely available to everyone, just like the wind, and it responds to those mental operations known to us as desire, will and imagination. It may be difficult for you to grasp the concept of Mind Power right now, but it will become much clearer as these mysteries are uncovered and at last, exposed.

The truth is, the whole subject of Mind Power is nothing more than scientific claims for the principle of physical energy-does that mean Mind Power is identical with the physical energy of science? Is this phenomenon little more than a high form of mechanical or material energy? No! Mind power is very different from a blind, mechanical energy. It is a living, mental force which is behind the manifestations of physical energy and mechanical force. It is not the physical energy of science, but is more like a “Living Will” which is causing the physical energy to manifest.

Here’s an example to better illustrate the point:

You desire to move your hand-and it moves. Why? Because of the manifestation of the wonderful and mysterious force called “will” which is stored up within you, and which you have released to move the hand. You send a current of “nerve-force” which is really a manifestation of Mind Power or “Will-force” from your brain, along the nerves of the arm, which contacts the muscles of the arm and hand, and your desire is gratified. Your desire or “wish” set Mind Power into motion, which acted upon the material substance of your body and caused it to act. The result: By your Will, your hand moved. But what is flowing along the nerves to make contact? Is it electricity or magnetism? No again! …It is that subtle, mysterious thing called Mind Power… which is bound together with the Will.

For clarity, Will can be another name for Intent. Mind Power is an actual living force. It’s the force that makes plants, animals and even our bodies to grow, develop and evolve. Mind Power enables all living things to move and act. It is an existing, living, mental, acting force, manifesting sometimes with an astounding power, and sometimes with a delicate, subtle touch that is almost perceptible, and yet still accomplishes the desired outcome.

So the first step to realizing the truth about Mind Power is to understand that it already exists-within you, and every-where, as movements of consciousness… the divine ‘spark’ of action…of vibration… of creation. In fact Luther Burbank, a man who revolutionized our concept of “plant-life” in the early 1900’s said, “All my investigations have led me away from the idea of a dead material universe tossed about by various forces, to that of a universe which is absolutely all force, life, soul, thought, or whatever name we choose to call it.

Every atom, molecule, plant, animal or planet, is only an aggregation of organized unit forces held in place by stronger forces, thus holding them for a time latent, though teeming with inconceivable power. All life on our planet is, so to speak, just on the outer fringe of this infinite ocean of force. The universe is not half dead, but all alive.” Mind Power is openly available and ready to be consciously used by anyone willing and ready to use it. It’s here, for you, now. Most of the battle is already won by simply being aware of Mind Power, understanding what Mind Power truly is, and then learning to apply it using simple techniques to help you control it.

Gardening

Ask anybody living out in the suburbs about two things they see on a per day basis in the property and they are bound to bring up deer, crows, squirrels or rabbits. OK, quite possibly that’s a pretty accurate answer but there’s something even more common: water well heads!

And unlike wild animals which are entertaining and fascinating to watch, water well risers are often-times quite the difference. Ugly metal water well pump risers are far from natural looking. The truth is many would agree that they’re down right sickly! Coated in bright and unnatural colors with shiny metal accents, water well heads just ask for a cover or some kind of camo. And what’s even more annoying would be the location of these utilities. Building contractors and developers always seem to manage to fit the water well caps right smack in the middle of the backyard where they are easily noticed and least wanted.

It can make sense from a design point of view. To be able to keep costs reduced you need your water well to be fairly close to your structure, needing less pipe and a smaller pressure vessel to keep the water moving continuously into your house. But from an aesthetic point of view the reverse is true. As home owners we would much rather see these water wells far out in a distant section buried in tall grass in a area some ways away…out of sight, out of mind. Unfortunately this is not always a practical solution, however. And not surprisingly we want everything: clean water, lots of water pressure but with no unsightly water well riser to stare at. What to do?

DekoRRa brand artificial stone well pump enclose combinations are a great solution. These plastic boulders look very real and are very simple to use. One simply places the rock shell over the well cap, stakes it down and walks away. In several scenarios this method is perfect.

This fall DekoRRa’s new line of resin stone edging border blocks hit the market, and combining these with a hollow fake rock, allows people a fast and easy means of changing the areas around their water well caps into nicely edged landscaping features.

These “Well-B-Gone” well pump transformation kits are brand new and are sold in three different types. The hard thing about water well pumps is that no 2 ones feature the exact same dimensions. To solve this they produces different kit sizes to accomodate well risers of different sizes:

The Well-B-Gone Model 101 Kit – contains a DekoRRa Model 101 artificial rock enclosure, a set of 16 Fake Rock Edgers, and a 52″ Diameter pre-cut circle section of Weed Guard. This kit featuring the DekoRRa Model 101 faux rock cover is especially well suited for medium to large well pumps.

The Well-B-Gone Model 102 Kit – – includes a DekoRRa Model 102 faux rock enclosure, a kit of 16 Faux Rock Edgers, and a 52″ Diameter pre-cut circle piece of Weed Guard. This kit including the DekoRRa Model 102 faux rock cover is especially well suited for covering large well pumps.

The Well-B-Gone Model 107 Kit – – includes a DekoRRa Model 107 DekoRRa Rocks enclosure, a kit of 16 Artificial Stone Edgers, and a 52″ Diameter pre-cut sheet piece of Weed Guard. This kit featuring the DekoRRa Model 107 faux rock enclosure is especially well suited for covering smaller well pumps.

With all of these kits the customer simply digs out the sod in a 52″ diameter circle around the well riser, lays down the pre-cut Weed Guard Weed Barrier Template, Stakes the Faux Stone Border Edgers along the far edge of the circle, adds Mulch and places the cover rock over the exposed well pump top. That’s It! It’s a fast mulched and edged rock garden! Plant some flowers and or shrubs and it becomes a true garden accent.

These Well-B-Gone Kits are very simple to install and they include top of the line, Landscaper Grade DekoRRa products that look extremely natural and rock-like. The last thing a customer needs is to disguise an ugly water well head with a cheap, fake looking artificial rock. In making these kits we chose the finest quality products on the market, and the results are outstanding.

Landscaping

Are you looking for a project that you can do to spruce up your landscaping? Here are 5 great projects you can start today!

Stone Path

Adding a stone
path to your landscaping is an easy project that can add value and
beauty to your property. While you can do the job yourself hiring a
professional company will ensure that your path is safe and done
correctly. A professional service will use the right stones of about the
same type and size so that the path looks uniform. When people see a
stone path on your property they automatically feel that the home is a
lot more visually appealing.

Decorative Fencing

Adding a fence can add security or protection to your home or to an
area of your yard or garden. Fortunately a landscaping professional can
also get the project to look great by adding decorative fencing. A lot
of people settle for the most boring styles such as a chain link fence,
but you do not have to. All you have to do is visit the fencing section
of your favorite hardware store to see that you have many styles and
colors to choose from.

Climbing Flowers

As long as you are getting away from the ordinary when it comes to
fencing, you may also want to do the same when it comes to bushes and
shrubs. One of the best landscaping additions to your home can be
climbing flowers by the door. You can use climbing flowers on any posts
around your home and those can be roses or any other type of flower.

Use Color

Landscaping is not only about planting different shrubs or stones, but
also about adding different color to your yard or home. You can do so by
using flowers, bushes and even by changing the color design of the
home. Whichever you choose to do it is important to make the colors
stand out without them clashing. There are computer programs which
professionals use and that you can find online which will give you a
preview of what the home will look like when finished.

Water Features

One of the best projects that you can start is addition of a water
feature to your landscape. A water feature can be as small as a bird
water fountain or as complex as a waterfall. The decision you make will
certainly add value to your property and the style that you choose will
determine how much the value of your property increases. You can also be
certain that your home will be more beautiful when you add water
features.

Home Improvement

Whether you’re building a new home or buying an older resale home, chances are, you’ll want to put your own personal stamp on your home and make it your own. That usually means taking on some home improvement projects. To safeguard your investment and protect the resale value of your home, you’ll also want to stay on top of the basic home maintenance tasks that will keep your home looking good and running smoothly. Taking care of the small things as they arise will help eliminate the need for major repairs later. This will involve time, some good old-fashioned elbow grease and a well-stocked tool box. Having the right tools on hand will make the job both faster and easier.
Essential Tools for the Homeowner’s Tool Box

If you don’t already have a set of tools, you’ll need to build a basic tool kit to handle those home maintenance tasks and home improvement projects around the house. If you already have a tool box, you may want to check the list and stock up on any items you may be lacking. Having the essential tools on hand will save time and eliminate emergency trips to the hardware or home improvement store; you’ll be ready to handle almost any job you’re confident enough to tackle – from hanging artwork to unclogging a drain. The recommended tool list varies from expert to expert, but these are the tools that professionals most consistently recommend for the homeowner’s tool kit:
Tool Checklist

* Screwdrivers – Phillips #1 and #2 sizes, Flat – small, medium and large from 1/8 to 1/2 or consider a multi-screwdriver which has a regular screwdriver handle with a socket for inserting various types of drive bits. Many jobs involve tightening and loosening screws like assembling furniture, tightening knobs, mounting shelving or heavy artwork and small electrical jobs.
* Hammer – 16-ounce for men or 14-ounce for women, either wood or fiberglass shaft with a claw end. A hammer is essential for a variety of jobs including hanging artwork, installing moldings, and driving and pulling out nails in small building projects.
* Cordless Drill/Driver – a 14.4 volt model should be suitable for home use and provide plenty of torque for most projects. You may find that you’ll reach for your drill more often than any other tool. Besides drilling pilot holes and installing wall anchors, your drill can be used with driver bits to drive screws for heavy artwork, mirrors and shelving.
* Drill Kit with various twist and masonry bits and square, torx and hex tips.
* Tape Measure – 25-ft. retractable tape measure to measure for window treatments, mirror/art placement, small building projects and outdoor projects.

* Hacksaw – used for cutting metal, plastic and pipes.
* Metal File – for sharpening large blades.
* Flashlights – handheld lantern-style light and snakelights that wrap around and hold themselves up. Flashlights are vital for emergency lighting in a black-out or if power must be shut off for electrical work, plumbing repairs and seeing into dark cabinets, closets, attics and crawl spaces.
* Non-contact Voltage Tester – safety device for use in electrical projects will flash or chirp when it comes near a hot wire.
* Stud Finder – will help identify where the wall studs are located inside the walls for mounting shelving, closet organizers, cabinets, etc.
* Electrical Tape – for repairing exposed wiring or electrical cords.
* Wire Stripper – removes insulation from electrical wires so they can be twisted together and capped – handy for simple electrical projects like replacing a light fixture.
* Outdoor Extension Cord – an outdoor cord is more versatile since it can be used outdoors and indoors if needed.
* Safety gear – safety glasses and work gloves should be worn for any project involving cutting, sanding, scraping, filing, or chemicals/solvents.
* Plunger – flange plunger for unclogging drains or toilets.
* Vacuum Cleaner – a 6-gallon wet-dry shop vac for cleaning up messes after projects like stripped wallpaper, saw dust, spackle dust or plaster, scraped paint, etc.
* Shop Bucket – large bucket for catching leaks, mixing goop and heavy-duty cleaning jobs.
* Shop Rags – for wiping hands and cleaning up tools and messes after projects.
* Putty Knife – for filling cracks or nail holes.
* Broad-Blade Scraper – for scraping off loose paint
* Sandpaper – an assortment of grits
* Duct Tape – great for temporary repairs of all kinds.
* Wood Glue – for repairing wood items like picture frames and for small building projects.
* Instant Adhesive (Crazy Glue) – all-purpose for adhering a variety of surfaces to one another (plastic, rubber, metal, leather). Watch your fingers!
* Fastener Assortment Kit – organizer containing nails, screws, wall anchors, nuts, bolts, washers, picture hangers, etc. A starter kit will handle a variety of jobs, but you may still need to purchase individual pieces or packs for specific jobs.
* Tool Container – consider a 5-gallon bucket with an apron/organizer to hold tools and removable trays that fit inside to hold smaller items. They’re great for organizing the tools and toting them around.
* Ladder – if the budget allows, purchase two ladders: one light-weight aluminum or fiberglass 2 – 4 ft. stepladder to pull out for quick indoor jobs, and one multi-position ladder (13 ft.) that can be adjusted for use as a staircase ladder indoors and an outdoor extension ladder for painting or roof access.

Granted, this is not a short list, and if you’re a new homeowner, you may not have a lot of extra resources available right now. If that’s the case, and you can’t swing all the items on the list, invest what you can in a good quality set of screwdrivers, a claw hammer, tape measure, level, pliers, an adjustable wrench, a utility knife, cordless drill and drill kit, fastener assortment kit, flashlights, plunger and a ladder. And don’t forget the tool bucket and organizer to keep them in! Then add a new tool to your kit as you can afford it, or on an as-needed basis. I’ll bet that within the first year living in your new home, you’ll have a need for every tool on the list (and maybe a few more).

A special thanks to my personal friend, home improvement consultant and handyman extraordinaire, Handy Hans, for his advice and expert opinion on which tools should make the recommended basic tool kit list! I’d recommend his business and give him a plug, but he tells me he has all the work he can handle right now. And so it goesthe best ones are always busy!

Wooden overlap sheds feature what is undoubtedly one of the most popular construction styles for garden buildings, in which the external planking is laid in such a way that each piece of timber overlaps its neighbour; hence the name wooden overlap shed. Apart from giving the building its distinctive rugged appearance, this method of construction enables rainfall to drip off the edge of each individual piece of planking, which does help to give the timber overlap shed enhanced weather protection and therefore a longer life. Even so, it is still a good idea to periodically maintain all timber overlap sheds by applying a new protective coat of paint, sealant or varnish every few years.

The popularity of this construction method means that virtually very manufacturer offers a range of timber overlap sheds so its important when considering the purchase of any wooden overlap sheds that you first undertake a little homework in order to more properly evaluate your actual needs; and to ensure that when you actually purchase your timber overlap shed you will be getting the best possible blend of versatility, practicality and of course, value for money. Construction methods vary amongst different manufacturers but in particular, it pays to look for a robust timber framework upon which the individual cladding planks are firmly fixed. Usually in a modern wooden overlap shed this will be by metal fixings or staples that are inserted with a high pressure tool. In some cases other manufacturers will use screws or nails but overall you need to look for stout, rigid construction of the frame and cladding.

Remember too that with a wooden overlap shed, the overlapping planks mean that the incorporation of doors and windows is more complicated than would be the case with a flat external wall. This is because timber overlap sheds need suitable framing to be built in to the structure in order to ensure proper sealing, a good watertight fit and adequate drainage around any openings. In most other respects however, a wooden overlap shed is broadly similar to a flat walled design so there are no real differences in the construction of the roof or floor. Once installed in your garden, its worth paying attention to careful and regular maintenance by applying a new coat of paint, varnish or sealant in accordance with the manufacturers instructions to ensure that your timber overlap shed enjoys a longer working life.

Another useful tip to remember when choosing a timber overlap shed is that the very nature of the construction technique means that there are effectively no flat interior surfaces. The result of this is that any internal shelving, rails, brackets or other features will need to be secured to the frame itself so stout construction is a must for all wooden overlap sheds because all the weight of items stored on the shelves or hung from the rails or brackets must be carried by the framework of your timber overlap shed.

Plastic piping has been used for over 60 years in a wide variety of applications. It is significantly easier to work with than traditional metal piping and can be used almost anywhere metal is and some places it cannot. There are two types of plastic piping, PVC and HDPE. If you are getting ready to begin a project that involves plumbing it may benefit you to understand the differences between the two.

PVC is a rigid plastic pipe. This makes it strong but also somewhat brittle. It can be manufactured in long lengths and large diameter making it ideal for buried piping. It can withstand large temperature extremes, all the way down to -40 degrees Celsius.

As compared to metal piping, PVC is much more resistant to the elements. It will also never run slow of become clogged because of corrosion, scale or rust build up. However it can be easily scratched if items other than fluids run through it. These scratches can catch debris as it flows past leading to a clog over time.

HDPE is just as strong as PVC but without the rigidity. This flexibility means that this type of piping cam be used in many different schemes and it can be used in areas with heavy vibrations without fear of it springing leaks. It can be used in warm environments but it does not stand up to temperatures below zero.

Like PVC, this piping will never rust or clog due to corrosion. However, it is more resistant to scratching. The inside of these pipes will remain smooth for many years after installation which means many years of care free flow.

Perhaps the most significant difference between these two types of plastic pipes is in their effects on the environment. PVC piping uses both chlorine and dioxin in its manufacture. Both of these have been show to be carcinogenic. HDPE piping contains neither of these, nor any other chemical that has been show to cause cancer and so is considered more environmentally friendly.

If you are in the planning stages of a plumbing project it would be wise for you to take a bit of time looking into both PVC and HDPE piping. Once you are aware of the advantages and disadvantages of each you will be able to make an informed decision as to which will best fit your needs. Making the correct choice from the outset will save you time, energy and money.

One of the biggest misconceptions about natural rock surfaces such as granite, marble or natural tile is that it is indestructible. When you hit a rock with a hammer, that rock will crack or shatter. The same thing can happen if you do not properly care for your rock surfaces. A marble countertop or granite floor is just as fragile as a natural wood surface. There are rock sealer products that you need to use regularly that will help you to protect your natural stone surfaces and prevent any prolonged damage to them from natural elements. When you pay attention to the stone surfaces in your home, they will last longer and give you a look that will really make your home dcor stand out.

The first thing that a good rock sealer does is remove the dirt and debris from the pores of your stone surface. Over time, debris left in the pore of stone surfaces can cause the stone to expand and crack. The initial problems will be so subtle that you will not be able to see them. But by the time you can see the problems, it will be too late to do anything about it. That is why you need to use a sealer product to help clean out the pores of your stone surfaces. Removing the dirt and debris from the pores of your stone surfaces also helps to keep your stone bright and the colors brilliant. It is like deep vacuuming your stone to help the shine stand out and keep the dirt out of the picture.

Once the dirt is removed from the stone, the rock sealer will put a protective layer over the stone to help keep out future dirt and keep water from getting into the cracks and pores of your stone as well. Even the most perfect looking stone surface has small cracks that you cannot see. That is a natural part of the stone surface. But if water is allowed to get into those cracks and expand in colder weather, then you will start to see a lot of damage to your stone surface. The protective coating will keep the water out of your stones’ cracks and it will also offer another layer of protection to protect your stone from impacts and scratches.

No rock sealer can protect your floor from extreme damage. But when you use a good sealer on a regular basis, then you will be able to protect your stone surface from the damage that can because by all of the dangers you cannot see.

Flowerhorn species emulate the wonders of nature ever been provided. There are a lot of species in this world which were naturally made and this type of fish was developed and bred to create a sense of intensification which is then conveyed to the advancement of our surroundings.

Flowerhorn cichlid is a strong fish and is noted with its attractive appearance. Its project head and vibrant colour makes them unique. They are a one of a kind fish although they have incomplete genetic make-up they are still able to reproduce, which makes them astounding. Numerous flowerhorn cichlids are considered food fishes for which they can thrive in tropical places. . They are considered as an insistent creature. This kind of fish can’t be reserved with its similar sex. Usually they’re kept alone until the subsequent breeding period. Although they are forceful creatures they can be considered as an attractive fish or an indulgence to the owner. r.

One of the many beautiful results of this fascinating fish is the Kamfa Flowerhorn which also exudes a very astonishing attractiveness. So, if it’s one of your intentions or interests to reproduce a flowerhorn, you should be aware of the considerable things that are included in making them abundant.

One more breed of the flowerhorn species is the red ones or the Red Flowerhorn which becomes ironic because this one has blue scales on its vast body. Anyway, this kind of specie is usually placed in bigger aquariums or fish tanks.

Being a sports fish and as a food to the Texans, the red flowerhorns are also identified as the Red Texas Cichlids. With that name and the consideration of the Texan people of the fish as their very own, it commemorates that this type of fish was found in the Texas subterranean stream. The fish has not only been become a pride but it has exercised its own purpose to give nourishment to the people as part of the cycle of life.

There are varied approaches in understanding this species’ characteristics, either you want them to solely just become ornaments or you desire them to be used in business, that really depends on you, what matters is, you comprehend and you educate yourself about this creature.

Their growth is rapid and they are really ecologically important. In developing countries, over 500 million people depend on fisheries. It gives them a source of fulfilment in terms of financial growth.

Every living creature in this earth is part of the cycle of life and the balance of nature. Flowerhorn fishes, among them, are hugely chipping in with this amazing happening in a world which now largely needs so much care.

Irvin Craig is a pet lover who shares some information about Flowerhorn Cichlid. One of his favorites is the Kamfa Flowerhorn that he just recently owned.

The micrometer is a tool that has proven to be invaluable to engineers through the years. The micrometer has been utilized in the fields of mechanical engineering and machining to measure tiny distances ever since the seventeenth century. The are various kinds of micrometer each made for a specific purpose, these include the outside micrometer, the inside or internal micrometer plus the depth micrometer. The micrometer, referred to as the micrometer screw gauge, is made up of calibrated screw but the exact type of this screw will depend on if the device is an outside or internal micrometer or even a depth micrometer.

The outside micrometer, also called the micrometer caliper, is required to measure a distance encased by the micrometer as the name suggests. The typical use of the outside micrometer is to measure items including wires, shafts and blocks. The device is used by fitting the gauge around the object to be measured then tightening the screw to fit tightly around the object involved. Much like the depth micrometer, the outside micrometer features a series of precision markings upon the screw which indicate the measurement of the object with great accuracy and reliability.

The internal micrometer, as it’s name also suggests, can be used to measure distances in which the micrometer itself fits. The most typical use of the device is in measuring the diameter of holes. To use an internal micrometer the screw is placed within the hole being measured and turned until the working parts have extended in an outward direction and fit tightly up against the inside wall of the hole. The measurement scale printed on the exterior of the screw will offer an accurate measurement.

The depth micrometer can be used in measuring the depth of a hole from the surface that it originates from. The device consists of a body from which protrudes a metal shaft and this can be extended and retracted using a screw on the devices body. With the main body of the tool resting on the surface along with the shaft above the hole, the depth may be measured. By twisting the screw the shaft is extended until it is in contact with the bottom. The measurement scale on the screw will provide an exact measurement.

Micrometers are widespread and very valuable in the field of engineering, allowing users to precisely measure small distances. The different types of micrometers give a level of accuracy that can’t be achieved simply by using a measuring tape. It is the screw that’s tightened that enables distances to be measured with this kind of degree of accuracy. If the screw mechanism is manufactured to a high standard then the micrometer will produce extremely precise measurements.

Hydroponic is very common these days that even a 9-year-old child already knows what hydroponic is. In home gardening settings there is what we call automated home gardening with the use of hydroponics. This home hydroponic system is a gardening system that allows us to grow plants without the use of soil. With home hydroponic system you can also grow plants without them actually ever seeing real sunlight. It uses plant light to impact and make use of photosynthesis which is the process by which a plant takes in light and turns it into a fuel. A home hydroponic system can grow any kinds of plants from edible to non-edible plants, from seasonal to off-season plants, and even plants that only grow in certain climates.

But with a home hydroponics system you dont have to have a green thumb or skills and even experience in growing plants from soil because home hydroponic system will automatically work the gardening for you. Its as if you are just operating a home appliance which usually only go through a plug and play process. Home hydroponics system is as easy as one-two-three. All you have to do is to place the stating pods of plants into the designated holes in a home hydroponic system, put some nutrient pellets, add water in the system, and lastly turn on the plant lights to start the ball rolling. There are also led lights in a home hydroponic system that will tell you if you need more water or nutrients in it. Plants grow exponentially and you will have to constantly add more water and nutrients as these plants suck up more and soaking up much more. So basically thats how a home hydroponic system works the gardening conveniently for you.
Home hydroponic system is science and an art at the same time. Science since it involves photosynthesis and hydroponics and art because the sense of growing things and gardening is part of the package. It is said that home hydroponic system is the future of growing anything using water and nutrients without the plants ever touching soil and the use of artificial light to jump start the process and make the process of photosynthesis actually happen.
